Welcome to Anagomeshi Ueno, a long-established restaurant near Miyajimaguchi, famous for Hiroshima-style anagomeshi: grilled conger eel served over flavorful rice. Our anagomeshi began as an ekiben, a station lunch box, in the Meiji era. Today, it is loved by many visitors as one of the special tastes of the Miyajima area.
